The Ultimate Yacht
The Vessel: Annaliesse
The Circuit: St. Tropez to Portofino, bien sûr
Perfect For: New-money scions
Strikingly designed she may be, but the Annaliesse is not for subtle one-upmanship. At nearly 280 feet, with four decks, an elevator, and its own full spa, the yacht is best used as a blunt-force instrument for knocking the other socialites into envious submission. (If you were to buy her—which is an option—$97 million or so should do it.) Built in 2003, she comes with a crew of 36, including chefs, beauticians, butlers, and presumably a professional sycophant or two. You can invite 35 guests along—there are 18 staterooms in all—and entertain them with a movie screen, plunge pool, two speedboats, assorted personal watercraft, and full steam room and Turkish bath in the below-deck spa. One note: That $800,000 per week charter fee? It doesn't include gas, food, alcohol, or docking charges. And it most certainly doesn't include the tip.
$795,649 per week
