You don't want too much excitement on a family vacation, like discovering that it's your child who has just climbed out the Land Rover window on a safari to see if the lions will eat potato chips. But you don't want to be bored silly, either, with yet another adventure whose highlight is spinning around in giant teacups. Fear not. It is possible to get the adrenaline flowing and still feel like a somewhat responsible adult. Here are seven parent-friendly vacations that won't drive the kids to distraction…and vice-versa.
