MAISON BOSSIER CANDIES
$19
Squealing and sighing ensued when Maison Boissiers pretty little candies recently arrived at our offices, and its no wonder. Not only are the sweets adorably packaged, but theyre also tasty and even pedigreed: The Parisian confectioner has been open since 1827, and its founder, Belissaire Boissier, invented the candied chestnut (or marron glace). Today, the sweetmakers chocolates and bonbons are of course sold at its Paris flagship (184 ave. Victor-Hugo).
