The best of the bathroom: The sumptuous "bath menu" at the Landmark Mandarin Oriental hotel in Hong Kong is anything but watered down: The dizzying lineup of custom soaking options includes a Green Tea Bath, an Oriental Herbal Bath, and a Cleopatra's Milk Bath—with whole, skim, soy, or sesame milk. But for an extreme super-soak, splurge on the extravagant-is-an-understatement Ultimate Champagne Bath. For $5,000, the staff will draw a bubbly bath with the house Champagne and surround the tub with flickering candles and 99 roses (you know, because 100 roses would be over-the-top). Once you're steeping in sparkling wine in one of the larger suites' seven-foot-diameter tubs, your butler will set up a spread of Beluga caviar, Valrhona chocolate–covered strawberries, and…a bottle of 1959 Dom Pérignon, naturally. Adding edible gold leaves to your Champagne flute is optional.

The rest of the bathroom: Prefer to draw your own bath? You can still luxuriate in a way that will go to your head: The bathrooms in the hotel's 900-square-foot Landmark suites are wired with an advanced entertainment system, including surround sound, dimmer lighting, and an HD LCD flat-panel television. Or just feel free to sing in the shower about each room's supply of Jo Malone bath products.
