David Chang Room Service, Chambers Hotel, New York City
It may be nearly impossible to get a reservation at Momofuku Ko, the smallest of hot celebrity chef David Chang's perennially popular restaurants. But guests of New York City's Chambers Hotel have the special privilege of ordering room service from Chang's latest venture, the on-site French-Vietnamese restaurant Má Pêche. From 6:30 am to midnight, the in-room dining menu includes standout dishes such as a duck confit banh mi, truffled ricotta gnocchi, and Eden Brook trout with sunchoke, cashews, and fish sauce. The 77-room property is just three blocks from MoMa, but the Chambers' own art collection, including more than 500 works by artists such as Michael Lazarus and Ruth Root, means that hungry culture vultures needn't be bothered with leaving the hotel at all.
