Many find it confusing to navigate a city with narrow streets and signs in a language they don't understand. To help me find my way out of an area with many confusing turns and multiple side streets, I use my digital camera. When you turn onto a street, turn around—facing the corner you just came from—aim the camera slightly off center, and take a picture. When you return, just play back your pictures, which will be in reverse order, and you can easily find your way out of the most confusing neighborhood.
