AT A CROSSROADS IN TALLINN

Great Travel Moment:
This photo was taken January of 2009 in Tallinn, Estonia, and is symbolic of a major crossroads in my life. The trip was planned two days in advance of going, the ultimate random excursion. I was in the midst of an extremely difficult divorce, and it was my first week without my children (due to an agreed parenting time schedule). A friend mentioned he was going to Estonia for work, so I joined him and explored the medieval buildings. Not only was it magical but it also provided a sense of peace that inspired a book I am nearing completion of.
