Concierge.com's insider take:
It's hard to get closer to the water than this restaurant, built on pilings above the ocean on the island's east coast, and the seafood on the casual menu might well have been plucked from directly below. After more than a decade in business, most of the popular dishes remain unchanged, such as the lobster and crayfish spring rolls with a tropical-fruit dipping sauce. Other appetizers on this eclectic menu have Italian and French accents such as the rich Tuscan cioppino (fish soup) and the seafood crepes in a light cream sauce. Those in need of a carnivorous fix should opt for the boneless curried goat with coconut basmati rice. A children's menu is available before 7:30 pm, but the ambience is pure romance after that. Reserve by e-mail with credit card, and print out directions, as it's not easy to find.
Open Mondays through Saturdays 6:30 to 10 pm, mid-October through mid-August.
