"It is as stunning as the brochure says." Overlooking Emerald Lake, this 1902 timber-and-birch lodge has a dining room, a games room, and stone fireplaces. Rooms in two-story alpine cabins with willow furnishings are either "a little shabby" or "high-end rustic." Mount Burgess Dining Room's bison, caribou, elk, and salmon are "fresh, innovative, and beautifully presented." "Friendly staff treated me like family."
