An eighteenth-century Cape Dutch homestead with perfect-scoring design, it has "manicured grounds and vineyards." Fresh fruit greets guests in perfect-scoring rooms that are "uniquely put together," with dark wood and splashes of color; five of the suites were once slaves' quarters. Dinner on the manor's front porch, served by "attentive waiters," accompanies views of "the sun setting off the Western Cape's mountains": "The romantic atmosphere is difficult to duplicate."
