This gallery of local artists and craftsmen, located on the water in Hvar Town, is filled with oil paintings of pastoral island scenes, handmade ceramic vases, and carved wood storage boxes striking enough to use as display pieces. Aloha's most popular items are the rough-hewn models of old Dalmatian sailing ships—inspired by the full-sized vessels anchored just a few feet away.

Located on the lone boutique street in Diocletian's Palace (and just around the corner from the Peristil Square), this extensive jewelry store sells eye-catching modern bijoux from designers like Germany's Georg Bunz. The real treasures, though, are the classic styles made by local artisans: intricately woven silver bracelets and chokers in traditional arabesques, turquoise and emerald rings, and cascading necklaces of red Adriatic coral.
