Located 30 minutes from the Strip, this property attracts either die-hard Ritz devotees looking for luxury in the desert or golfers after the 36 championship holes. Guests generally forgo trips into town and gamble inside Casino MonteLargo, a quiet (and unrelated) casino next door. The Ritz overlooks a man-made body of water modeled after Lake Como in Italy and the multimillion-dollar estates that line its ten-mile shore (take a tour on the marina's yacht, which gives afternoon tours on weekends at 2 and 3 p.m.). The restaurant, Medici, is on par with Ritz's best.
