Maybe a night in a museum doesn't sound like a wild evening out, but on the last Friday of the month (December excepted) the Victoria & Albert does more than simply keep its doors open until 10 pm. Every month offers a different theme, with live performances, talks with curators, guest DJs, food, and a bar from 6:30 pm onward. One highlight is the annual July Village Fête, which pays homage to a British tradition—a sort of mini state fair—but updates it, with the hippest designers and artists running the stalls.
