The eighteenth-century rue Faubourg St-Honoré mansion that housed Americans during World War II is "like someone's private residence." French rooms have Louis XV and Louis XVI furnishings and chintz curtains, and natural light floods bathrooms. "Staff were perfect—professional and attentive." At the restaurant, modern dishes include stuffed macaroni with black truffle. Additional rooms debut in mid-2009.
