Concierge.com's insider take:
With only 27 suites, Point Grace is one of the last hotels on Grace Bay small enough to allow you to bond with other guests. Its beach is as pretty as any along the bay, with the added charm—and a rare one it is on Providenciales—of being out of earshot of construction noise. Most of the bonding takes place not at the sea's blue edge, but at the pool bar, focal point of the resort's two oceanfront buildings and cluster of pool and garden cottages. "Just get in today?" somebody will ask at Happy Hour, and the next thing you know you are all making dinner plans. African artwork and teak furnishings give the suites a retro colonial feel, and the Thalasso Spa, its open-air treatment rooms looking out across sand and sea grass to the ocean, is without doubt beauty treatments with a view. Grace's Cottage, the hotel's restaurant, specializing in Caribbean fare, is considered one of the island's premier dining experiences—as, with wine selling for as much as $40 a glass, it damn well ought to be.
