The wine business has been cornered and premium coffee is old news,, so it was only a matter of time before Washingtonians found a new gourmet frontier to conquer: artisanal chocolate. This cheerful cacao purveyor offers one-stop sampling and shopping, with a dedicated section for each of the city's best chocolatiers. You'll find truffles, bonbons, bars, and bags of nib brittle from Fran's, Oh! Chocolate, Fiori, Chocolat Vitale, and Theo. There are a few café tables, and one length of the shop is devoted to serving hot chocolate, chocolate-drenched pastries, and gelato.
