From 1802 to 1805, Friedrich von Schiller spent his last years in this much-photographed house. His last works, including Wilhelm Tell, were written here, and his books remain on the shelves. The second-floor rooms look much like they did during his timethe house was turned into a museum in 1847, and careful restorations were made in the 1980s.
