Jamie Pallot
Editorial Director
As Editorial Director of Condé Nast Digital, Jamie Pallot is responsible for the content and user experience of the company's Web brands, including Style.com, Men.Style.com, Epicurious.com and Concierge.com.
Mr. Pallot came to Condé Nast Digital from Time Inc. Interactive where, as an editorial consultant, he oversaw a redesign of People.com. Previously he spent three years as the Executive Producer at New York Sidewalk, the acclaimed online city guide published by Microsoft. Mr. Pallot has also served as Editorial Director of the Canadian magazine, Web and TV company Shift Multimedia; Editorial Director of New Media for the News Corporation; and Editor of Britain's Virgin Film Guide.
Mr. Pallot's work at Condé Nast Digital has long been recognized, with sites under his direction receiving honors from the American Society of Magazine Editors and the James Beard Foundation. The sites have also won multiple Webby Awards and MIN (Media Industry Newsletter) Best of the Web Awards. In 2005 Mr. Pallot received the ASME award for General Excellence Online for Style.com, and in 2008 he was inducted into MIN's Digital Hall of Fame. In his previous lives, he has written a syndicated movie review column, appeared on CNBC as an expert on the entertainment industry, and contributed a song to the soundtrack of the 1996 indie film Ed's Next Move.
A native of England, Mr. Pallot attended the University of Sussex, the Université Paris-Sorbonne: and St. Catherine's College, Oxford.
