Jay Carlson

JAY CARSON, CEO, C40 CITIES
Jay Carson is the C.E.O. of C40, a group of large cities committed to tackling climate change. Representing the shared concerns of the forty largest cities in the world, the organization works with the Clinton Climate Initiative to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through a range of energy efficiency and clean energy programs. New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is the current chair of C40. Mr. Carson is a former aide to both Bill and Hillary Clinton and has served as the deputy mayor of Los Angeles.

David Chou

DAVID CHOU, evHUB
David Chou, Managing Director of evHUB, began his career in New York City as a derivatives analyst for Shearon Lehman Brothers and spent nearly two decades in the financial industry. He has now turned his attention to bringing electric vehicles to Singapore’s roads and demonstrating that green vehicles are within consumers’ reach.

evHUB is the first certified electric vehicle conversion facility in Singapore and also the first local company to convert combustion cars to fully electric cars. The company also collaborates with the National University of Singapore to train local students in EV technology, while at the same time participating in the government EV test bedding efforts. EvHUB recently launched FSG Mobility Concepts, the region’s leading retailer of premium lifestyle electric vehicles, giving consumers the choice to go green with their own electric vehicles.

Alejandro Gutierrez

ALEJANDRO GUTIERREZ, ARUP PLANNING
Alejandro Gutierrez is an Associate Director at Arup Planning. Some of the current projects he is leading include the Venice Airport Development Plan; Low2no, a zero-carbon mixed-use development in Helsinki; and Ciudad Modelo, an eco-district master plan for 40,000 inhabitants in Santiago. Mr. Gutierrez has been interviewed by the BBC, The Guardian, Le Monde, Wired, and Monocle magazines regarding sustainable urban development. He has been an invited lecturer at the London School of Economics, Said Business School, Oxford University, and many others.

Loh Lik Peng

LOH LIK PENG, HOTELIER
Loh Lik Peng is an acclaimed hotelier and restaurateur. Mr. Loh began his career as a corporate litigator after law school in England and postgraduate work at the London School of Economics. After returning to Singapore he entered the hospitality industry. Since 1997, Mr. Loh has started ventures in Singapore, Shanghai, and London. In 2005, the Singapore Tourism Board awarded Mr. Loh with the “New Tourism Entrepreneur Award” for his work transforming a simple shop house into the high-design Hotel 1929.
