Thai village architecture inspired this Bang Tao Bay resort. Every villa has a private garden and an open-air bathtub, and guests can choose from satin, cotton, or linen sheets. Public seating areas are "so comfortable that many times we dozed on the couches." Treatments at the spa are "a heavenly experience." Meals include a sunset dinner cruise on a traditional longtail boat.
