From the readers of Condé Nast Traveler:
Sailing aboard one of this line's river vessels as it cruises the Nile is "a great, comfortable way to see Egypt." Itineraries are set up so "you have to get up very early to see the sights"; however, "highly accommodating staff and private guides are very knowledgeable and make the early rises worth it." The "outdated cabins" are decorated in white and ecru on the Sun Boat III; those on the Sun Boat IV were renovated in 2007 and are now purple and green and have canopy beds draped with gauze. Meals are Continental with Egyptian specialties, but guests are advised to bring their own wine, as "local wine is not the best." An Egyptian Night costume party promises "a roomful of dancing Cleopatras and King Tuts." The Yangzi Explorer will begin service in April 2008.
