Tents at this property by a forest of leadwood and fig trees are on elevated wood platforms and are covered by traditional peaked thatched roofs. They are also outfitted with decks suitable for wildlife viewing or private dining. "All the amenities—air-conditioning, a minibar, etc.—are here, even though it's in the middle of nowhere." On twice-daily game drives, you'll see "leopards and lions walk right by the jeep," and you can watch hippos from the heated pool. Meals can be taken in the Bird Hide tree house.
