From the readers of Condé Nast Traveler:
Expect stops in regions including the Mediterranean, northern Europe, Asia, and South America. The Restaurant, a staple on all Silversea ships, serves American and Continental cuisine. "The sommelier always chooses the perfect wine to complement the evening's selections," but the menu can get old: "I never again want to see Isabella Rossellini's special pasta." Cabins have European decor with subdued colors, brass, marble, and textured fabrics. The crew are "impeccablethe cabin stewards even turn off their vacuum cleaners in the hallway if a passenger approaches." Shore excursions include the chance to be a cosmonaut for a day at a training center near Moscow as well as to take a cooking class with Swedish celebrity chef Tina Nordström. Silver Wind recently added an ocean-view spa and fitness center. In 2009, Silver Spirit will join the fleet.
