Most of the excursions on this line's European, Asian, and Egyptian river cruises "have good English-speaking guides, and are included in the price." Land trips such as wine tasting in castles and vintners' homes, a tour of the Normandy landing beaches, or brandy and cider sampling at a family-owned country estate involve "small groups and feel like they're being done only for you." Staff are "accommodating and knowledgeable—you get the feeling that they really enjoy working for this company." The line will launch the River Beatrice in March 2009, with staterooms that have marble bathrooms, Brussels weave carpets, and flat-screen TVs.
