The casual ambience and small scale of these ships attract guests who "aren't interested in Las Vegasstyle nightlife or large group excursions." Vessels have teak decks and giant motorized sails, and cabins are done in red, white, gold, and blue and have Egyptian cotton towels, L'Occitane toiletries, granite countertops in bathrooms, and flat-screen TVs. Bridge Suites add soft brown-leather couches and chairs to the mix. Itineraries take in small ports in Europe, the Caribbean, and Central America. New sailings in 2009 will bring aboard experts on subjects as diverse as art and winemaking. Wind Surf, the largest ship, has four restaurants with unassigned seating, including one with a seafood focus. The line is "elegance without ostentation."
