The restored brick factory with a 130-foot smokestack blends contemporary furnishings with rich earth tones. "Rooms are not large but are comfortable, clean, and well appointed" and offer views of the Potomac River. Degrees Bar & Lounge, with exposed brick walls and black slate floors, serves cocktails and is "so happening." While staff are "very pleasant," the concierge desk "operates by committee, and when one asks for something, it sometimes takes time to get done."
