Commissioned by the Catholic Monarchs as a pilgrim hostel in 1499, this "well-maintained" Spanish Renaissance and Baroque-style hotel has an "unbeatable location" on Obradoiro Plaza. Rooms are "not particularly impressive but clean and comfortable with interesting period furniture." Dinners of meat and seafood at Dos Reis are "just incredible," and served to live piano music. "Sipping a glass of wine in the lounge after a day of walking is truly special."
