This 60-acre resort—ringed by eight volcanoes—has 26 commodious suites in 18 exotic, historic Javanese buildings. All accommodations have elaborately handcarved doors, mosaic whirlpool baths, enormous four-poster beds, and terraces big enough to dine and recline on.
