This sibling to Hong Kong's original Mandarin (itself set to reopen this year following renovations) is all sleek lines and sexy curves. The 113 large rooms are categorized by their square footage—L450 (450 square feet) to L900 (900 square feet)—and have ultramodern bathrooms with generous limestone tubs. The trade-off for the hotel's central location in the business district is the potential lack of privacy from neighboring towers, but this same prime site has made MO Bar a buzzy spot with bespoke-suited bankers. Staff provide excellent service, on a par with the city's other legendary five-star hotels.
