In contrast to Bangalore's surfeit of rich Indian curry houses, Graze, inside the Taj Residency, is refreshingly restrained. The contemporary European menu has Asian flourishes—try pan-seared foie gras with spicy nashi pear and brioche or pan-roasted Atlantic cod in crab beurre blanc. Desserts lack flair, but the wine list is among the area's best. Nondescript decor—open kitchen, clean lines, and soft lighting—is a bit of a disappointment. If not for the friendly local waitstaff, you could be in Singapore or, for that matter, Switzerland (entrées, $22–$30).
