Two 1,000-square-foot couples spa suites (one geared to Chinese and Thai massage, the other to oil-based treatments) have opulent Chinese daybeds, individual steam rooms, saunas, and steeping tubs. Guests can also opt to have treatments alfresco, within view of breathtaking karst mountains. A great break from roaming the art-filled grounds of this new hotel, the L'Esprit de HOMA package ($212) is a blissful four-hour marathon, including an herbal bath and sauna, full-body exfoliation, hot honey/essential oils wrap, Dead Sea mud facial, and Thai massage. All treatments end with traditional Chinese sweet red bean soup and green tea (massages, $21).
