With this spa, JW Marriott's new hotel in the China Central Place development (a mix of office towers, apartments, and hotels) might contain the antidote to bustling Beijing. This in-house spa brand will soon become familiar to Asian travelers, with ten more branches opening in the region over the next two years. And good thing, too, since it encompasses both the best of local spa practices (traditional Chinese medicine–influenced treatments) and international spa wisdom, such as Vichy showers and Ayurvedic oils (massages, $64–$74).
