This nine-room hideaway feels like a chic beach house, thanks to its intimate scale and stylish decor. All six standard suites, housed in the main building (three individual villas are nestled around the lushly landscaped property), feature pillowtops almost as thick as the mattresses, and generous-sized decks with a daybed. Bathrooms include a deep soaking tub facing the sea. Young English-speaking butlers meet guests at the airport and oversee all arrangements, including advising on nearby dive spots and booking babysitters so the grown-ups can enjoy Cebu's nightlife. The restaurant opened three years before the accommodations were built, giving chef Jason Hyatt time to perfect his casual cuisine. Exotic fruits such as calamansi and green mango taste great in smoothies, which are best enjoyed by the infinity pool overlooking the turquoise Hilutungan Channel.
When to go: November through March for days that are sunny without swelter.
Which room to book: All standard suites face the sea.
