Organic chef-to-the-stars Akasha Richardson's first restaurant gives healthy a slick makeover, starting with the echo industrial-chic space that has been decorated using eco-friendly materials like reclaimed wood and bamboo. At lunch, the room fills with corporate types who hash out deals over the lamb sliders and thin-crust pizzas, while at night scenesters come for the roast chicken with cardamom spaetzle and black kale as well as the spicy turkey burger with an extra order of sweet potato fries. Sipping cocktails made with organic spirits and super-ingredients like acai and pomegranate, you feel almost virtuous.
