This newcomer is drawing serious eaters to the car dealershipheavy suburb of Glendale. Chef Octavio Bercerra's menu (which changes daily) begins with a selection of starters in mason jars, which would come off as precious if the jars weren't filled with the best salmon rillettes or potted pork you've ever had. From there, the menu reads like an elegantly tweaked farmers' market bulletin. Try the halibut with heirloom beans and Anzio artichokes or the farro with leeks, fennel, and blood orange. The best part? Nothing on the menu is more than $20.
Tip: Browse the well-stocked wine shop, and have any selection with dinner for an $18 corkage fee $5 if you sit at the bar (entrées, $6$19).
