In the middle of Durham's rejuvenated downtown, Revolution is the latest addition to the city's thriving restaurant scene. Chef-owner Jim Anile renovated the historic Baldwin's department store with a Florentine tiled mural and touches of zebrawood, while keeping the vintage hardwood floors. Anile's résumé includes spins at top establishments, and it shows in buttery ahi tuna nestled in wasabi-laced greens and melting buffalo short ribs over bourbon-laced creamed corn. The wine list is a gem, featuring small-production vineyards and prices under $50.
