Local celeb chef Michelle Bernstein's new restaurant, inside the festively renovated landmark Buena Vista Post Office building, has been packed since its Art Basel debut. Bernstein's inspired tapas menu includes wild mushroom croquetas with impossibly creamy centers, decadent spiced bone marrow balanced by sumac-pickled onions, and an elegant stew of fava beans and homemade duck foie gras sausage. And there's no absentee-chef syndrome here: Sra. Martinez is just a few miles from Bernstein's other restaurant, Michy's, so the señora can hop between kitchens in minutes.
