This tiny downtown spa may not be much of a looker, but it's the go-to place for visiting celebrities and in-the-know Dallasites in search of glowing skin. Located in the mixed-use One Arts Plaza building, the salon has just two rooms, equipped with Infrared Pulse Light (IPL) machines to plump and rejuvenate, oxygen gas to stimulate new cell growth, and crystal microdermabrasion to slough off dead skin. The ultimate facial, if you can afford it, is the Synergy 7, a combination of seven age-defying techniques in one two-hour treatment, during which skin is cleansed, resurfaced, infused with Vitamin C, lifted and firmed, repaired and hydrated, infused with oxygen, and (phew) finally calmed and protected. Don't leave without some of Rouleau's own line of products—try the pumpkin and corn meal smoothing peel—designed for nine different skin types.
