Designed to evoke Udaipur's royal Gangaur barge, the boat lies at anchor and can accommodate just one couple at a time for pampering. The treatments, which draw on the therapeutic techniques and scented potions traditionally used on local Rajput nobility, come at princely prices and include Mewar Khas, given to royals on their wedding day to purify, relax, and spiritually enhance. It begins with a cleansing scrub that dries under warmed towels, acting as an impurity-lifting poultice; after this is showered off, a relaxing massage is administered with a delicately scented oil said to ground and center the spirit. Treatments are given in a wood-paneled cabin with blinds that lend privacy but unfortunately blot out the exotic views.
