The look: Vintage Como with twenty-first-century amenities. Retro shots of the lake are beamed onto the walls behind a spectacular indoor pool. There are huge mosaic pod showers, and a relaxation area sits atop an inspired glass floor—the water laps below.

Who goes: Discreet celebs who didn't score an invite to Clooney's pad, and Milanese matrons.

The treatment: We loved the signature facials using Natura Bissé products—the combo of a lifting massage and "DNA repairing" potion acts like a mini face-lift.
