Acapulco + Zihuatanejo nightlife
Acapulco is the undisputed nightlife capital of Mexico, a town where "No Moleste" (Do Not Disturb) signs hang on hotel doors until noon. Fluorescent green laser beams and cascading fireworks blast above the darkened bay late at night, when club crawlers strap on their stilettos and prance past bouncers into discos and bars. Cover charges range from $20 to $30, often with an open bar included. In the more posh clubs, however, bottle service remains popular among the see-and-be-seen crowd. Several of the hottest nightspots, such as Palladium, are clustered between Las Brisas and the Costera, in the hills edging Bahía de Acapulco. Nights tend to go something like this: dinner at 10 pm, hit the clubs after midnight, then gather at the taco stands for breakfast as the sun rises.
