Amalfi Coast restaurants
On the coast, unsurprisingly, seafood dominates most menus: Spaghetti alle vongole, mussels, squid, octopus, and countless native fish. Local wine producers have made progress in leaps and bounds in recent years; look out for wines made from the white Fiano di Avellino or red Aglianico grapes. Note that some of the best dining on the Amalfi Coast is to be found just outside the main tourist area—west in the unassuming family resort of Marina di Cantone, and east in the working fishing port of Cetara.
