Anguilla restaurants

For a relatively small and British island to boot, Anguilla has an astounding array of gourmet restaurants, now rivaling neighboring St. Barths in quality as well as price. Most visitors spend their days on the beaches, so dinner is the splurge meal. The informal lunch scene revolves around beach bars and bistros with grilled chicken and ribs, and local fish, crayfish, and lobster. For dinner, reservations and fat wallets are highly recommended at most restaurants in season, especially the small gourmet celeb-fave venues, such as Veya, Hibernia, Blanchards, and KoalKeel. Dress is fairly informal, casual chic for women, guayabera (the go-anywhere substitute for jackets and ties) the maximum for men.
