A sister hotel to London's One Aldwych, Carlisle Bay (at the end of Old Road on the island's undeveloped south coast) has been an "it" spot for celebs, rock stars, and those who like to live large since opening in 2003. Eighty-eight massive suites (minimum 786 square feet) have custom-made, clean-lined furniture softened by luxe fabrics in soothing citrus shades, and an ocean view is guaranteed from each private balcony or terrace. There's a divine beach, pool, Zen-style spa, and a yoga pavilion for guests who can't go a day without a downward dog. A private movie room with cushy blue-leather seats screens films nightly (children's flicks in the afternoons), and a well-stocked library has free wi-fi.
