Concierge.com's insider take:
Dickenson Bay is one of Antigua's action-filled beaches, flanked mostly by all-inclusives and low-rise condos, but the south end is anchored by perennial favorite Siboney Beach Club. It's really more of a secret garden with a four-story hotel attached: Lush plantings hide a freshwater pool, hammocks are strung between palm trees, and bougainvillea drapes over private patios and balconies. The suites are comfortably decorated with bamboo furniture and retro tropical upholstery. A kitchenette separates the air-conditioned bedroom from a sitting room with a small balcony shaded by palm trees. This is a place to laze the day away, but if you insist on being active, you can borrow a pair of binoculars and visit the nearby lagoon to spot snowy egrets, pelicans, and blue herons. The on-site Coconut Grove Restaurant sits at the edge of the sand with coconut palms growing up through the thatched roof.
