Antigua + Barbuda restaurants

Despite the predominance of all-inclusive resorts, there is a great mix of appealing eateries throughout the island, from the modestly priced to the outlandish. Regardless of where you stay, you should give local cuisine a try. Explore dishes like roti, roast sugarcane, or the vegetarian Ital food made popular by Rastafarians. The recommendations below offer a mix of local fare (especially at the beach restaurants and rum bars) and international cuisine. In addition to the restaurants below, you will find many first-rate dining spots in hotels and resorts, such as East in the Carlisle Bay Hotel, Sheer in Cocobay, the Italian restaurant in the new Antigua Yacht Club Marina, and the beachside restaurant in Hermitage Bay (take a taxi rather than try to get there on your own).
