Antiguan Chef Carlton Thomas whips up gourmet Caribbean specialties with fresh veggies and herbs from the garden out back (the restaurant is housed in his boyhood home, and decorated with African and Caribbean artwork and wood sculptures). Signature dishes include a breaded chicken appetizer seasoned with hot sauce and cayenne pepper, vegetarian Carib gumbo, lobster Carl (served out of the shell with white-butter sauce, fresh tomatoes, and basil), and bread pudding with rum sauce.

Opens Mondays through Saturdays at 6:30 pm. Closed June through October.
