Ffryes, on the south side of Antigua, is one of the island's most popular beaches, and finally it has a restaurant and bar worthy of its beautiful curve of sand. Three covered pavilions jut off an orange-and-green clapboard house on a rise overlooking the bay and the Sherkley Mountains. Daily menus usually feature curried goat and grilled snapper or grouper, but Dennis is at its best at the Sunday pig roasts, which have live Soca music.

Open daily 11 am to 10 pm.
