In Buenos Aires, you must be so careful with your valuables. Do not wear good jewelry in the streets. Watch your luggage also. We were given this advice by the person who picked us up at the airport, but some others on our trip were not and they suffered the consequences. One woman had her arm broken when someone came up from behind and pulled off her watch. Does not matter where you stay - we were on a very upscale trip. Carry little cash. When we boarded buses to go to the airport at 4am, someone dressed as a tour bus driver stole luggage and rode off on a motorcycle around the corner. Loved the city, the sites and the food, but please be careful. report a problem
