Cavas Wine Lodge, Luján de Cuyo
Posted on: September 17, 2010 at 4:24PM
Everything is awesome. We were greeted by a warm, friendly, staff---with a big glass of their own Malbec wine. The rooms are not expansive and not cramped. They are little individual adobe-style houses complete with an outdoor shower, a small pool and an upstairs observation area complete with fireplace. The food receives high marks and the special activities are indeed special. we had an Argentine barbeque, a Tango show and a very soothing piano show. My advice is to stay at Cavas for dinner every night---but every day you must visit the wineries---the best restaurants in the mendoza area are at the wineries. In particular---Ruca Malen, the best. cavas is a great base to use.
